Marxact is a Dutch company that focuses on the development and sales of their GNSS receiver.
They are based in a city called Hilversum. It is kind of close to Amsterdam.
The people of Marxact
Behind the company there are two people. These are Tommy van der Heijden en Raoul van Ginkel. They have their roots in ICT and cable works. That is also why they started the company Marxact in 2016. To them it was strange that people in the field were not land surveying themselves. But that they always depended on land surveyors. After having this thought they decided to set up Marxact and to develop their own GNSS receiver.
Their mission
The mission of this company is to make land surveying reachable for as many people as possible. First thing they did is to develop an affordable GNSS receiver. The name of this GNSS receiver is UNI-GR1. After that they started to add some more for GPS surveying necessary tools. They developed a cloud solution. Marxact calls this solution UNI-cloud. Also they have their own NTRIP network. Also the name of this network starts with UNI. It is UNI-RTK premium. After all we can conclude that with all this extra side products they get close to reach their mission.
